Sustainable Food Biotechnology


The international conference "Sustainable Food Biotechnology" will be held in the picturesque city of Aveiro, Portugal on 12-14 February 2025. The conference, organised by the Plant, Agriculture and Food Divsion, will explore the latest developments in food science and technology. The topics will include:
  • Crop biotechnology
  • Next-generation food
  • Boosting soil health
  • Food biotechnology ethics
  • Smart packaging innovations
  • Food waste to bioproducts

During the 3-day event, scientific program will consist of keynote presentations, shorts talks, poster presentations, flash poster presentations and networking opportunities.

SCIENTIFIC COMMITTEE

The Committee is composed of academics who are experts in the field of plant, agriculture and food biotechnology.

The “Sustainable Food Biotechnology” event will be held at the University of Aveiro.
The conference centre is situated 1 km away from the city centre, near the ria (lagoon).
