Scientists aim to recycle used liquid fertilizer with participation of gardenersMembers of the public take part in an experiment organized by researchers from CATRIN, Palacký University as part of the INTERMAT project. Valorization of waste generated during hemp cultivation rather than letting it go to waste is the aim of this cooperation. Researchers collected the liquid residue over several months, conducted chemical and microbiological analyses, and treated it so that it could be used to fertilize decorative plants.
