The European Congress on Biotechnology (ECB2026) will be held in Antwerp, Belgium, from 28 June to 1 July 2026. Submit your original research in one of the following scientific streams:

  • Solutions for a sustainable planet
  • Manufacturing with microbes
  • Feeding the planet
There are still slots available for 15-minute invited talks, flash poster presentations and poster presentations.

The congress includes four scientific streams, including “Manufacturing with microbes”. The following presentations will be featured:

The Food Biotechnology Conference will take place on 8–9 September 2026 in Sion, Switzerland, at HES-SO Valais. The event is organized by the Plant, Agriculture and Food Division of the European Federation of Biotechnology.

The conference will cover key topics in food biotechnology, including sustainable ingredients, fermentation and upcycling, microbiome-active foods, clean-label innovation, enabling technologies and regulatory and societal aspects.
