ECB2026: Innovations for healthy living
The European Congress on Biotechnology (ECB2026) is set to take place in Antwerp (Belgium), on 28 June - 1 July 2026. This year’s congress, under the theme “Shaping tomorrow: Biotechnology for Health, Food, Energy, Environment”.

PYFF9 Conference: Keynote Speakers announced
The Conference on Physiology of Yeasts and Filamentous Fungi (PYFF9) will take place in Valencia, Spain on 8-11 September 2026, and the keynote speakers are:
- Joseph Schacherer (University of Strasbourg, France) will give the Opening Keynote Lecture.
- Antonio Di Pietro (University of Córdoba, Spain) will deliver the Closing Keynote Lecture on “Transposons and accessory regions drive adaptation in a clonal evolving fungal pathogen.”
The conference will cover a wide range of topics, including fungal evolution, pathogenesis, synthetic biology, and the role of fungi in sustainable industries.
