Save the date: ECB2026 – European Congress on Biotechnology
We are pleased to announce the 20th European Congress on Biotechnology (ECB2026), will take place in Antwerp, Belgium, from 28 June to 1 July 2026. The event is organised by the European Federation of Biotechnology (EFB) in collaboration with the Flemish Institute for Biotechnology (VIB).
ECB2026 will bring together researchers, industry leaders, and policymakers to explore the latest developments and future directions in biotechnology.
The programme will include:
- Daily plenary lectures
- Four parallel symposium sessions each day
- A trade exhibition and sponsor-led presentations
- Strong involvement of early career researchers with opportunities to present their work
Participants will also be invited to submit their contributions for a special issue of New Biotechnology, the official journal of the EFB.
